Organizational structure
SMK consists of several divisions. Although we are not really that hierarchical at all. Because everyone is equal and valuable. We also have several Boards of Experts, a Timber Procurement Admission Committee, and a Complaint Committee. Curious about how the organizational structure works? Read on.
Sustainability begins at…
The heart! We care about nature, the environment, animals, energy, climate, water, wood and about you. Our organization is the beating heart of several integral quality labels and programs. And these would not exist without our director, supervisory board, employees, Boards of Experts, and Committees.
Director and Supervisory Board
SMK has a Supervisory Board and a director. The Supervisory Board (RvT) decides on the approval of the budget, annual accounts, and strategy. It also supervises the execution of the policy and management, led by director Gijs Dröge, of the organization.
Organizational Chart
An organizational chart visually depicts the organizational structure of SMK. The composition of SMK is a snapshot, which is largely determined by the demand for certificates and the initiatives to do so financed by third parties.
